Methodology

OUR FOCUS :

Students should become good human being and follow the dictum “HELP EVER, HURT NEVER”.

OUR PEDAGOGICAL VISION:

To provide learning environment to cater the uniqueness of each child and to enable a balanced and wholesome development of child’s personality.

OUR TEACHING LEARNING APPROACH:

Experiential, Constructivist, child centered, Art oriented approach involving seeing, hearing and doing that leads to conceptual understanding.

OUR VALUES:

To practice and not merely preach fundamental human values of Love, Truth, Righteousness, Peace and Non-violence.

The school follows the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The children in ECCE-Prep to class II are taught as per ECCE (early childhood care and development). The children are not asked to hold a pencil in their hand till they are matured and all learning is incidental through activities and play.

The school adheres to the policy of no homework till class II. Normal methods of learning i.e. explanation, activity, recitation, repetition, questioning and project work are followed in other classes. Class work which can be supervised by teachers is given much more importance than homework in classes III to V. The principles underlying Sri Sathya Sai Education in Human Values are adhered to.

Music, Art, H.P.E., use of Library, Socially Useful and Productive Work (WE), Art Integrated Education,skill education along with Experiential Learning, Collaborative Learning and Education in Human Values (EHV) form a part of curriculum that leads to personalized learning. These are provided place in the time table along with Languages, Science, Mathematics and Social Science. We make an effort to see that love pervades the atmosphere of the school to enable the children to feel secure. Preference is given to developing selfdiscipline rather than enforced discipline. Explanation, discussion and persuasion are the tools.
